Mission Statement

We in Carntall Primary, aim to make learning fun, purposeful and challenging. We value and acknowledge each one of our pupils as individuals. Within a happy, caring and safe environment, we seek to address individual needs and enable all our pupils to celebrate success. Each pupil is supported in the achievement of his or her full potential.

Guided by Christian principles, we encourage our pupils to develop self-control, respect for others and an acceptable set of moral values. We build their confidence, independence and self-esteem. We seek to empower them to make responsible decisions and become responsible citizens of the future.

We believe in the importance of teamwork and positive partnerships between pupils, parents, teachers, classroom assistants, governors and the wider community. Each makes an individual and unique contribution to the educational process here in Carntall Primary School.

We are committed to the provision of high standards of education and to the continuum of improvement. Through a process of self-evaluation, we will ensure that the quality of education provided continues to be appropriate and reflects the desire to raise our pupils’ standards of achievement.
